A boutique interior design studio focused on calm, refined and enduring spaces. Ellipsa is a design-led interior studio specialising in bespoke residential and hospitality interiors.
The studio was created to offer a considered alternative to trend-driven design. Prioritising proportion, materiality and how a space feels to live in or experience over time.
Ellipsa is led by a calm, thoughtful design approach, working closely with each client from concept through to detailed specification. Concurrent projects are intentionally limited in number to allow for a high level of involvement, attention to detail and continuity throughout the design process.
The team
Ellipsa is led by Ellie, an interior designer with a strong grounding in both formal design education and practical project experience.
A graduate of the Diploma in Interior Design at the National Design Academy, she is currently completing a BA (Hons) Interior Design degree remotely via De Montfort University alongside professional practice.
Ellie takes a collaborative, detail-led approach to each project, working closely with clients to create interiors that are practical, refined and thoughtfully resolved.
Ellie’s focus is on guiding clients through the design process with clarity and care, ensuring each space feels cohesive, considered and suited to how it will be lived in or experienced.
The meaning behind the name “Ellipsa”
The brand name Ellipsa was devised through the use of the founder’s name “Ellie”, paired up with the initials from Personalised, Sustainable & Aesthetics. Resulting in a service delivered to you by Ellie, in a way that is personalised to you, to your property, to your lifestyle your budget and your aspirations.
The sustainable aspect is so important with today’s environmental condition, which is why more effort is being focused on sourcing truly sustainable solutions for every project. And the aesthetics aspect, well that’s the bit you can see and how the way it looks makes you feel.
In addition to this, the ellipse shape circling the brand name evokes feelings of continuity, and a smooth journey, as well as offering a full circle approach to ensure everything has been approached, addressed and installed effectively.

Good interiors should feel effortless, not overworked. Ellipsa’s approach balances structure with softness and tactility. Creating spaces that feel grounded, human and refined. Each decision is guided by longevity, practicality and visual restraint rather than short-term trends.
